My attached garage has a small attic, but I didn't want to lose the space. I put in a pull down ladder with a trap door, and used those atticdek tiles on the floor.

My opening was too small for a fold down stairs, and that's one reason I went with these. I couldn;t get a big enough piece of plywood through the hole to make that worthwhile.

They went in nicely, and the only possible concern I could see is that if your spans are a little off...they may not line up as they have notches on the bottom.

I also only had a small space to do...so the price wasn't crazy. If I were doing a larger space I would have used plywood.

i havent used them, but for the price, i will stick with the 3/4" ply i had to cut into 2' by 4' pieces to get up there. $20 of ply coveres 32 square feet.

Yeah I guess more expensive then plywood.. The nice thing about the attic dek is the ceiling access and only needing to un-install 1 tile or maybe 2.
