This is a no-brainer, go for the larger space. I would LOVE to get a space that size. Brimg whatever power you need, the space is practically free.

Very nice transformation. Looks like a nice setting as well. You may consider using steel panels, might be cheaper than drywall these days.

We had a similar situation in my brother in laws garage. We made a drop down ladder that fit between the joists which were on 24" centers. We started by using wolmanized 2x6 for the sides of the ladder, then we routered 1/2" deep grooves where the steps(steps were made from 5/4 board) were going...

I concur, I work for a construction co on occasion and we use a hammer to separate them, works great.
