HelloEchodawg
That's a transformer. It could either be for a door bell or furnace thermostat. It's easy to get a reading off the terminals for voltage and then try shutting off the breaker to the furnace.
Give it a shot. I could be wrong but a few houses I've owned, had these.
Good luck

Go ribbed. But...the 12" centre ribbed panel here is usually 1-1/2" thick. The 9" centred rib is 7/8", we sell one called a rainbow rib which is as thin as soffit around 3/8-1/2" thick. It will be very easy to attach things like shelves and hooks and cabinets etc.
Good luck

Lol. I've always coveted my neighbor's garage and he just told me its for sale in september (I think it includes the house). So tempted. If I buy it I won't be able to afford the cars to fill it for a while.

Unfortunately I am the worst at documenting any of my projects. I didn't put up any pics yet but after tomorrow I'm meeting the Edmonton Vespa club for a meet where everyone helps each other out and I'm going to get some help in finishing the wiring. I got it started last night so I'm stoked...
Great! Now I have to get out of bed and go look at my carbs.! Thank you for the tip on the carbs. I'm extremely happy with the performance of the 81. I will definitely try the transmission trick when I have everything apart this winter for an engine rebuild.

Hello Zelatore,
I should really subscribe to my posts. Just caught this...
i found the roll bar at my mechanic. I'm sure its not race legal but it looks good.
The 81 is for my wife and its all sorted out. We just cruise and go for cappuccinos with it. The autocross car I'm building is an 83...
We sell a screw called a "goof screw". If I remember correctly it is a #17 size and so it is an upgrade from the normal #14 thread that the roof was "probably" installed with. The theory behind it is you are not just replacing the old screw, but you are enlarging the hole slightly for a brand...

Love my filing cabinets. These were some of my greatest finds. No cheaper way to go.
I painted everything with grey hammerite paint.

Yes just bought some at Home Depot and if I recall they're called " occupancy switches"
I installed them in a storage building that we drive into with forklifts and don't need to jump off to turn a timer switch. Only problem is they max out around 600watts.

Hello
It's one of three cabinets I built so I would nt have to see this stuff on the walls. It was kind of a theme I used in the garage.
It's just mill finish aluminum cladding over wood.

You can even install ceiling first without j's and then j the wall where it meets the ceiling.
Usually we mount the panel onto a base flashing that looks like a drip cap.
That 45 crown moulding is nice because you can hide wiring or airlines behind it .

In a pinch I take a small piece of chain and whip it around the wheel or wheels (where it touches the floor) and it usually stops any rolling.
