Have you tried to relearn all of the garage door remotes? You might have a problem with interference of the rolling code (Genie). I had a problem with two garage door openers working simultaneously because of this. I was cured after relearning:) Good luck and welcome to the forum.

It's been awhile since I set my gateway up.. I remember something about the serial number of the gateway being used in the setup and using the learn button along with the app on your phone. I had a problem with that, but all works well now. I am looking forward to an improvement to the app...

I have always used gasoline! Works great! Just be careful, the stuff is flammable!
