    Craftsman/Sears, Vise ID by Catalog

What does “Columbian” supplier mean, I’ve seen it referenced a few times. Also is that a good or bad thing? I just acquired a 1960 era craftsman vise 4.5”. Mine clearly says made in the USA and is in really good condition. Also curious what’s the original color/paint scheme was for this?

    Is this enough diamond grinding?

Time will tell how it holds up. I'm always skeptical with hiring people as I don't trust many folks to put in a hard days work these days but they did a good job, were efficient and courteous. Here is the link to the Yelp where I found them. I haven't left a review yet, but I will give them...

Why does the forum keep flipping my photos?

All of my photos are in the proper orientation before I post then as "attachments" however once I upload them, the flip sideways or upside down. Any ideas? Also, can anyone recommend a 3rd Party Photo Hosting webpage since Photobucket screwed everyone and forces you to pay to share photos the...

    Is this enough diamond grinding?

Ya, despite my best efforts (the photos were imported properly) this forum flips them and I couldn't get photo bucket to host them without some 3rd party fee (I guess you have to pay to host pics now). I never put down a deposit, but the job is done and he's been paid. He diamond grinded the...

    Is this enough diamond grinding?

Thanks for the info. I read a lot of articles on the difference methods and want to ensure it's getting done right and I'm getting what I paid for. It's not like pairing a house where you slap two coats of paint on it and call it a day. The prep is the most important part and I want to ensure...

    Is this enough diamond grinding?

First 3 replies and not one of you answered the question :lol_hitti. I'm not familiar with this process, so I am seeking advice from those who have done it before that can provide some insight. It's not a matter of trusting the contractor, it's a matter of being knowledgeable on what I should...

    Is this enough diamond grinding?

Have a contractor at my house, so far, this is the progress. What I'm wondering is how much of the concrete needs to be roughed up and if they are doing it right so far? I want to be able to intervene before they start laying down product if it's not rough enough or not done properly...

Price To Hire Contractor To Epoxy 3-Car Garage?

Let's not turn this post into a b!tch fest please. California prices are considerably lower is the consensus I've come to since I've priced almost 20 epoxy flooring shops in San Diego, CA. I committed this morning to the company who uses Roll On Rock. Straight shooter, talked for a good 20-30...
