The link from 1981 looks odd to me because the model number 80 appears to be on the right hand side. All I have ever seen had manufacture on the right and model on the left.?

Been trying to find out any info available on this vise.
After starting clean up process I discovered that the original casting was filled with what appears to be bondo, body filler and then painted, unmatched color. Any info available on something like this and possible manufacture date? Thanks...
