    CL compressor purchase this morning

Yeah, I double checked, there is no drain on the bottom of the tank at all. The only one is on the end. The guy I bought it from ran the tank up to 150 PSI for me so I know it works. I can hear a good amount of water in the tank. Not sure if I should bother with this one. Bummer.

    CL compressor purchase this morning

So after inspection them more the PAR compressor looks like the tank was repaired on the bottom so I plan to put that one back up for sale. I can see the motor has been recently rebuilt. I plan to keep the Curtis to restore as that seems to be in better condition. For anyone who has done a...

    CL compressor purchase this morning

The ranger is a tough little work truck, it has some helper springs under the back though. I guess I forgot to post what I paid... I'm thinking it might have been a bit much now. $300 for the pair.

    CL compressor purchase this morning

Ohh yes... I regretted not taking the bigger truck when I realized I was going home with both of them. It was a slow ride home... Both motors are single phase. The Curtis does have some wobble to it when it runs, the pulley on the compressor has some wobble to it, not sure if its bent or what...

    CL compressor purchase this morning

Curtis Compressor I bought. Questions I went and picked up the compressors I had found on CL this morning. They are quite old and I don't know much about them yet aside from the black one does run and hold pressure just fine. The PO said the green compressor works as the motor was rebuilt but...

Still on the search for a good compressor...

Hey all, I'm still on the search for a good compressor to run any tool I can imagine in the garage. Not much comes up on the local CL here. This add just came up, does anyone know what either of these are and if they are worth the seeming low asking price?

IR T30 used, Should I pick it up?

Yes, Its the 5hp Model 2340. Here is a link to the listing. http://dallas.craigslist.org/mdf/tls/5131983928.html I currently use a portable compressor but would like something bigger to run air tools from time to time. I don't have a ton of room so a 60gal is better than 80 for me.

IR T30 used, Should I pick it up?

I found a Ingersoll Rand T30 60gal upright compressor locally going for $150. I haven't looked at the compressor in person yet but I do know that it has normal wear and tear and needs a new motor. Do you think its worth picking up for $150.00? I'm not sure what I'd be in for a rebuild kit and a...

    Brake Bleeder Options?

I don't want to beat a dead horse here, but I need some input. I am looking for a vacuum bleeder thats pneumatic powered to bleed both automotive brakes and motorcycles. I know that many on here prefer the Motive Power Bleeder for bleeding automotive brakes and hopefully that will come later. I...
