The Official "List your favorite "Makers" thread

AvE Imagine a super smart shop teacher with the speaking style of an uncensored Yogi Berra. Sensitive people should skip this. For everyone else, it is pure joy. I'm not sure if this is a maker thread but "The Hydraulic Press Channel" is just good clean fun. The real deal from down under

    Project Binky You tube Series

I started watching Project Binky a week or so ago and it is fantastic. It's Wallace and Grommit meet Top Gear. I cannot recommend it enough. These 2 guys are absolutely insane and you have to love them for it. What they are doing is so typical of the experience of rebuilding anything. Cars...

VISE REPAIR 101 all vise repairs, lubricants, sources for parts and the tricks to fix

I recently bought a Chas. Parker 954 that I found lying in the dirt outside of a 2nd hand store. At the time I didn't know about the infamous Parker jaws issue. Lucky for me they are in pretty good shape or I would be the proud owner of a Chas. Parker boat anchor. In fact the whole thing is...

I am a SW engineer and part time carpenter. Part time in that I renovated my house. Originally I wanted to live in a house so I could enjoy woodworking and small boat building as a hobby. I built a Greenland style skin on frame kayak, some furniture, a flintlock rifle. I also took a Windsor...
