what would be a decent mill I could use as a drill press as well that would be under 1500 bucks or so? I would mainly be using it as a drill press for wood projects but I wouldnt have the space in my little 14'x16' shop for a decent floor standing drill press and a mill.
I have been on the lookout for a decent older US made drill press. My hopes are that I can find a decent single phase machine that will be precise enough to do small milling jobs. I have seen a few Atlas Model 74 units come and go on craigslist and various condition Powermatic 1150A's etc...
I managed to rebuild the blade clutches in a few of them. Ive probably cycled through 6 or 7 of those things by now. haha. I ended up selling them all off and now I dont have any mowers. I thought about getting an Ybravo 25" but I may just get a small kubota rider.
I was gifted both of these routers. I was wondering which would work better in a table saw extension wing with a lift? I was also gifted a mint condition older sears/craftsman 113 table saw that I plan on putting the router wing onto. Are there any budget friendly lifts out there that will work...
I wonder if now is the time to get in on good deal from LL? All of the stuff they carry now is US or EU made.... some good deals for around 1.10-1.50 a foot.
I recently found this on Amazon in my attempts to find a budget/cheap air hammer. Has anyone bought one of these? its first duties will entail 2 bathroom tile demo jobs using a 2" wide thinset scraper blade.
