    @Yankeefarmer truly appreciate the insight. Unfortunately, the only 'hardship' I'm experiencing is my wife complaining about all the cars in the driveway lol. I would love the info as now I can't get the architect to call me back either after I submitted everything over to him.

    Thanks; we visit both but a bit out of our price range. Barnyard was $140k for a timber framed structure not including electrical, slab, insulation, etc.

    the homemade box joint jig works great when paired with the right blade, you really need a flat top grind blade and won't require any clean out later. Not sure your budget, but the Woodworker Forrest blade is excellent...

    she only notices the large items like a hawk! "is that new, how much did it cost and did we talk about is??" heard that a million times. Of course I've always mentioned these purchases to her and why it's needed but she tunes me out until it's home.
