There is no freeplay. They start together. It does not matter which may move first or further. That left side is just weak. And it happened without notice, just like that.

Ariens zoom max 60 does not go straight back when pulling on the control levers. Left side is half the speed as the right so i go backwards in circles

Are you saying the on/off switch? That is not connected. Or an internal switch?
