    Get off your ashe Dewalt!

I have the DCC2560 and it does great for all of my air needs, including filling car tires. I'd be willing to bet the DCC2520 works almost as well if you're looking to stick to true 20v.

Who's gone Li-Ion mower and lawn trimmers? Watcha think?

I run a Dewalt 20V trimmer, works great. I can do 90% of my yard (1/4 acre lot) with one of the tiny batteries. A large FlexVolt battery can do everything, of course. I think I'd like to try their 20V mower, but I haven't seen one in person yet. I was kind of hoping they would go with a...

Hooking TV to always-on garage PC with other monitors

Assuming HDMI, DisplayPort or HDI interface, I don't see a problem. Windows is OK with different display resolutions unless you are attempting to mirror the image. The TV should power off with remote and stay off unless your PC is giving it a wake-up signal. This would be an uncommon...

    Spray Bottles

I have a couple of the Rubbermaid Heavy-Duty that have worked well for years for mild chemicals. I also have a Tolco Gold Standard which has also been working very well for harsher chemicals.

    Detailing inside garage

If I were building a garage specifically for car washing inside, I'd be using concrete board and some cheap bathroom tile on the walls. In fact, that sounds like a good idea if I ever get to build a garage from scratch.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Just for clarification, you bought and installed a device as a temporary measure while you delay installing some other device you already had?

    Michigan garage options

I helped put up a pole barn in northern Michigan 14-15 years ago. It's still exactly where we put it, without a single issue.

    Excelsior Tooling Company

They look fantastic. Functionally, the rounded edges waste a lot of space inside and out, and they are going to be fragile cosmetically. The price is above anything else I've seen. The bench is listed at over $1000, which even with premium materials and build quality seems awfully steep for...

TRADE-IN any Craftsman hand tool and replace it with a brand new Husky hand tool FREE

As a non-professional with access to HF and Tekton (Meijer has built out their Tekton aisles) I can't imagine buying home-use hand tools elsewhere unless I see significant quality improvements. At which point, their brand would be competing with other brands I already buy from their store. My...

    Anyone else like Channellocks?

I'm fairly certain I have one of every generation of Channellock 420 pliers.

    caliper wind back tool handle.

You are missing something. :D Some Bosch (and I assume others) rear calipers have the parking brake integrated into the caliper such that retracting the piston involves turning it in one direction or another (based on the side of the vehicle.) These tools and the cubes achieve this. I...

What tire dressing do you use?

Chemical Guys Natural Shine - really does give a satin finish. I hate the super glossy look too.

Pliers & Diagonal Cutters - Klein vs. Channellock

I have a drawer full of blue handles, and one old enough to not have blue handles. Some of them are relatively new, and some are hand-me-downs from my grandfather. I love them. I've used the others, and they seem good enough as well.

    4 post lift

A few people with problems are going to speak up much more quickly than a majority who have a good experience. Statistically speaking it is difficult to judge their quality based on a sample of complaints. I'm in the same boat, I'll be looking for a lift sooner or later and Bendpak has what I...
