The wiring was trash, I never seen a cord so brittle. So I rewired exactly as the original, I even Found the original diagram, mine had different colors. Anyway I can't get it to do anything. I need a bit of help about some static test. The thing looks brand new inside, the brushes are fine. So...

Yeah I got that works but is in very sad shape. I just looked, is a Hartford chu. I did a bit of rust removal.

I got my atlas last year, to match all my other vintage tools. I want to restore it. Deciding on the color. The motor bracket is busted at a corner, I need to get the key for it.

Well now that I got it a few more photos, I have a good idea of what I'm going To do. Take my time and do a by the book restoration. I wanted a Levin or a Schaublin for a while but a reasonable price is very tough.

I just found your beautiful project, I have the exact atlas but mine is just like yours lacks the atlas badge on the body and it has the aluminum badge on the spindle cover. That was the reason I was doing some research. Most be a reason.
