Yup ...

I used Ultraflex 1 thinset mortar from Lowes to lay the 20" x 20" porcedlain tiles in my garage. A 50 Lb bag is less than $15. No problems at all ... but I live in Florida if that makes any differance.

I certainly won't answer for Jack, but on the tile floor project in my garage, there is really not much of a transition between the tile and the cement driveway. The tile ends just about where the garage doors come down and contact the driveway, so I could really not do much of a ramp in that...

Sorry to see a floor like yours that you spent lots of time and money on have problems right away. With all these reports of peeling, chipping, not curing properly, discoloration, blistering, bubbleing, and all the various other problems with paint-on types of flooring (sealers, epoxy, etc) ...

Roll 2 coats of flat white paint on the wall within about 2" from the floor. That will match the walls. Then go to Lowes and buy one of those 120' rolls of 4" Vinyl Cove Base Wall Molding. The adhesive is located right there where they sell the molding. Cost is about $78 for the roll. I just...
