Please help me get thru my furnace and AC install!

The loft is open to the garage via the stairwell, they share ventilation whether or not the air handler is moving the air. I considered mini splits but was given the advice that they werent a good fit in Michigan where it would cost a fortune to heat with them. That door goes to the second...

Please help me get thru my furnace and AC install!

Thanks for all the comments so far. I will study up more on duct work requirements and consult with professionals. Im limited on return ductwork with the space available, but might be able to improve on my simple plan of just a filter box mounted on the side of the air handler. As far as...

Please help me get thru my furnace and AC install!

I recently purchased a Goodman furnace and AC from acwholesalers.com. Transaction went fine and now the unit is sitting in my garage. My Rust Bullet install

I installed rust bullet a couple weeks ago and had roller marks after 3rd coat as well. As long as it is dry to the touch between each coat, can I just keep recoating until finished? At a guess of 6 hours dry time per layer and allowing an hour to roll each...

last minute rust bullet install questions

Planning to start the first coat in a couple hours. Humidity today is around 55% with an afternoon temp of 85 dropping to 70 this evening. I plan three coats of rust bullet with a heavy flake thrown into the last coat while still wet. It will be finished with 2 coats of clear. I am guessing...

    Rust Bullet vs. Epoxy

About the same price as well once you go the flake route...I went with rust bullet since it seems like it will be easier for DIY. I'm in the process now and will post results once done.

    Mini split or forced air?

Thanks for all the advice! After reading thru the replies I think Ill stick with the forced air system. I have 240V near where it will be needed and natural gas within 10 feet. Ill try to remember to post the results in a couple months when its all done.

    Mini split or forced air?

I was set on a low cost traditional forced air furnace/AC unit....The more I read threads on this site the more I am considering a mini split system. I would do the majority of the install for either with an HVAC pro doing the final connections and an inspection. The space is a fully insulated...
