Thanks for the info. No taper. 5/8" with the 1st inch stepped down to 1/2". The drive end isn't tapered either. No holes. The only markings are a number. Best as I can tell it is 2050-11822603. Alloy? Angle? Google didn't recognize it.
Dril bit? Reamer? Combo bit/reamer? Are those coolant channels? Chip path?
Thanks.

Hi, found these among some tools I recently adopted. The box is approximately 13x10x6. The previous owner must've been a comm tech or worked in a central office.
Hi, I'm mostly a lurker, but recently picked up some old tools and have been researching them. I believe mine is 9/32 but has similar construction with the screw holding the front/back plates together. And yours is the first pic I've seen that also has the beefier selector lever. The ratchet...
According to my neighbor, their old Henry J is buried in either her back yard or mine. I'd love to find it and dig it up, but I doubt it could be salvaged.
ZRX61, I have a tie pin with that North American logo on it (with what I think is a tiny diamond in the center). My dad was a lead man there for 17 years.
I have my A&P. Never have used it as a paid professional. Just some side work with a IA friend on his family's planes.
Is that $19.99 before the rebate?
I'm finding these for $19.98 (on sale from $29.97), but no mention of a rebate.

Thanks. Either way, I think my basement will soon be brighter.
If they work, they'll be useful at some point. One example, say you're countersinking holes...it's nice to have one drill set up with your countersink bit and the other drill with your through bit.
Unless you're really tight on space, I'd keep anything that worked. If you use any of it...
They're a little like cylinder base nut wrenches you'd see working on airplanes. Do they have part numbers? Just a guess, but the shape and size makes me think of flanged pipe connections.
