I have been finding some tools in the property I bought and stumbled a crossed these. Smaller one is a MAC and the larger is a Cornwell, both are 3/4". Do they have a specific use other than tight areas?
They go on a 1/2" drive ratchet.

Sorry for the crappy tablet pics.

They look to me (and my novice eyes) that they're just speeder bars in specific sizes. Are there any markings on them? With the rust, probably noting discernible but still, are there markings of sorts?

Also, don't quote me on that, I'm going off of a guess from the [limitied] amount of tooling I've seen and looked at.

Head bolt wrenches. You used to have to retorque heads after you ran the engine, those wrenches made life easier reaching around overhead cams, rockers, etc.

They're a little like cylinder base nut wrenches you'd see working on airplanes. Do they have part numbers? Just a guess, but the shape and size makes me think of flanged pipe connections.

Yes, exactly so...... those are for the '37-'62 216, 235, and 261 Chevrolet sixes, the 228 and 270 GMC sixes, particularly, and doubtless some other engines as well, straight 8 Buick, possibly.

(on edit......there is an internet site for people who restore the old Chevrolets, and similar engines......try a 'google' search on 'inliners', I think its called........if you were to offer those special wrenches for sale/trade there, they could find a good home with someone who really needs them.)

cheers
