    small mig welder advice

I agree with all those above, especially buying a name brand so that you can get parts for it later.

    What size wire??

My local power company supplied the wire sizes I needed. Also the local Home Depot and Lowes had there printouts showing the wire size to the panel.

 Thanks for the ideas. Are you using a heat pump for AC? If so what did it cost?

    Almost Finished w/ my 28 x 48

I am in Whitesburg, Hamblen County, which is just out of Morristown. Permit was about $300 or so. If I had not gotten the permit and built the shop first, I would have had to subdivide my land to build the house. If you move here you will love it. If you are a hotrodder, there are a bunch...

    Garage is done with pics

I plan on using OSB in mine and painting it white also with a grey bottom and racing stripes. Mine is a working garage and if I bump the wall it won't be destroyed like wallboard. I think the OSB is much tougher. True it is not as smooth, but this ain/t my house, it is my shop. Nice cars by...

How about a garage cabinets and workbench thread?

I had some of these in my last garage. Different mfg, but same idea. They were sturdy and held up well. I am thinking of them for the 28 x 48 workshop I am completing.

    Built A Grinder Stand

Now that is one Heavy Duty stand. I used a 15" wheel. It works great cause I can tip and roll it anywhere I want. I also use the bottom of the wheel dish for storage of buffers etc.
