    Good Buy on Baldor Grinder?

Yes on both. Went through the whole set up and seems to all be there, mounting bolts and all.

    Good Buy on Baldor Grinder?

Need a little help on this one. I think I found a deal on a used Baldor bench grinder. Its an 8100W (.75 hp, 8 inch wheels) with a full pedestal set up. It runs smooth and everything appears to be in great shape. Looks practically brand new to me other than the surface dust its collected ...

    Snap-On Tire Gauge Inflator $177.50 ? Really !

I did the same thing with USA Craftsman when I got started. It was the easiest route to get a base set of workable automotive tools, back when HF didn’t exist. Sent from my iPhone using The Garage Journal mobile app

No. I’ve never gone into a HF and hope I never do. Nothing wrong with it if that’s what you can afford. Sent from my iPhone using The Garage Journal mobile app

    Snap-On Tire Gauge Inflator $177.50 ? Really !

I bought it about 10 years ago. Was testing drag launches in 1 psi increments and got fed up with the cheapies from Jegs breaking on me. 1% accuracy. It’s hard to read the dial though unless you really take your time. I use a digital Cornwall rebrand for day to day. Sent from my iPad using...

    Allen wrench holder

Klein sells those bags. However, reminds me of my first craftsman set in the clear plastic bag with a snap. To get one out you had to dump the whole bag and start guessing on sizes. Far from ideal. I use the plastic keepers they come in. Some of those L type sets are so cheap it might...

    Torque wrench question

Those Harbor Freights make for a pretty decent tomato stake as well.

Another option that’s worked well for me is buying truck brands lightly used. The pawn shops in Houston are full of them (non-digital at least). Easy to find at +/- 35% of list price. I have them calibrated for $35 and another $30 if they need repairs and Im good to go.
