    Heater for New Shop

Non vented propane heaters ****. I used one for years and will never go back. The fumes and moisture were horrible. If your only running it to putz around out there and not heating it all the time I would go with a 240 wall mount electric heater. Simple to put up, no venting required, and will...

Bench top drill press stand, build or buy

I know this post is about 4 years old, but I thought I would post an update. The bottom box is working out great! I added a sunnex grinder and mounted it to a piece of horse stall mat to cut down on the vibrations through the cabinet. I also added a holder for three 4 1/2" grinders and my 7"...

Tube in bottom garage door seal?

This is what I plan on replacing it with in the spring, I was just looking for something to get by with for the rest of the winter.

Tube in bottom garage door seal?

The opener is not holding it at all, Infact the linkage is slack when it is all the way down. The goal is to let the seal conform to the concrete instead of having the weight of the door squish it flat like it has been doing for the last few years.

Fart fan to pull residual fumes?

More like the Exxon Valdez and a tire fire had a child.

Tube in bottom garage door seal?

I finally got around to replacing the springs on my 18' insulated garage door, and it's now adjusted to the point where it sits softly on the garage floor instead of the full weight of the door sitting on the ground. Now my problem is that the old bottom seal is crushed flat and no longer makes...

    Kneehole . . . or not

Do it, my bench is pretty deep and tall in the first place, but I still like the option to use a stool if I need to. It was also a good place to mount an air hose reel so I don't have to drag a hose around.

Quick tip for the milwaukee m18 vac

The bell end of a stick of 1" plastic conduit makes a perfect extention, and with a touch of sanding the milwaukee attachments fight right on the end of it. It was something I had sitting around, and makes me much more likely to actually use the thing, haha

Fart fan to pull residual fumes?

Basic stick built detached garage in northern wisconsin, insulated walls, the interior is paneled in osb, and the attic is blown in. I'm looking for a way to get rid of assorted fumes in the garage, nothing major, but I do drive an old 7.3 and do other stupid things. Would a crappy 150cfm...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

That's a great idea! Which sizes do you need, and did you buy them indidualy, or just a full cheap set?

Need some help for infrared temperature gun

I just buy the cheap ones so I don't feel bad if I accidentally leave them out by the grill, or drop them.

Any information on this old shop light?

I figured I would post this up before I ripped it apart to swap in some led lights. It has been hanging in an old shed that was torn down at work and ready for the scrap pile but ended up in the back of my truck instead. Its just a cool looking old light, and I thought it wouldn't look to bad...

My drill is on the way out...

This thing earned its keep, and I don't plan on opening it up until I have a replacement as it can still be convinced to work. Honestly I dropped the thing a few times and it has always made a "speed control" noise as long as the light was on after being dropped. I'm just looking for oppinions...

My drill is on the way out...

My old Milwaukee 2704 drill is on the way out, unless I give it a good smack it won't switch from forward to reverse even though the switch is flipped. To me its not worth sending it in to have it looked at, its been through its fair share of abuse. Right now, is the biggest and baddest m18...
