recent acquisition - 125# mousehole a starting point

ah, the gems one can find old homestead sales... previous owner ran a welding shop for decades. been chasing one of these for >10 yrs. the few examples that have popped up bring a premium or are totally destroyed. "mousehole" anvils are considered good quality. this one could use a bit of work...

strangely enough, it was 25% off day and the girl initially tried to give me money back.

After several years of searching. Great condition. Appears to be an early model. No date stamp. Will post pics after cleaned up and a bit of pm.

Finally. Picked up this Wilton No. 4 bullet vise at sale yestiddy from (apparently) original owner. Early design, great condition, no date stamp. $5 well spent. Let the abuse commence...
