Don't ask.
I'm looking for a washer to do small loads of things like shop towels, microfiber towels and work gloves. I rarely have enough to make even a small load in a regular washing machine. I do have water in my shop but do not have hook-ups for a washer or dryer. I also don't want to give up the space full size machines would require.
A quick internet search turns up a lot of small portable machines that require nothing more than a hose connection, outlet and a place to drain to.
Does anyone use one of these, any particular brand, model or features you would recommend (or avoid)?

we used an old maytag wringer in the garage at the farm (but it was full size...)
apartment-sized over/under machine OR similar designed for RVs.
they're large enough to handle a few standard items (e.g., skunk-sprayed jacket) yet only require a small footprint.
have always had great luck with consumer-grade whirlpool and commercial-grade maytag washers but must defer to experienced rv folks for the compact ones.
a handy guy can gin-up a rollaround base so it can be parked in a corner when not in use.
very easy connection if you have a sink - set up hoses to connect to hot & cold water under it. can also drain into it.
electric version may require 220v outlet but that shouldn't be huge issue for a diy type.
as long as not using it all the time, can install one of those vent-into-the-garage lint trap vents. just be aware that its moist air and will condense when it cools.
