1/4 Drive torque wrench. (Differential Preload)

I bought a good used Snap-On dial type wrench for about $60 on ebay a couple months ago. Measures 0-250 in/lbs.

    mounting copper airlines to wall

The copper "bell" or "van" hanger is what I would recommend. (Same item, just called different names by different people). The ones we typically use at work space the pipe 7/8" off the mounting surface.... so that would work perfect for you. If you need a bunch.... it might be a lot cheaper to...

    Why SAE spark plug sockets?

Ive always wondered this myself. I've owned BMW, VW, Audi, Honda, Toyota as well as american vehicles, and not one has used a metric spark plug socket.

will this 460 3 phase welder work on 220 single phase?

Could have been a 3 phase. The inverter welders are TINY compared to the old technology welders. The job site I'm currently at has a small Lincoln 275A welder that is 480v 3 phase and is about the size of a 120v MIG welder. I'd still have bought it for $50, even with no use for it at home. I'm...

Cordless impact drivers - any good?

If you aren't going to use it much at all, and have no compressor, I would be looking at CORDED impacts. The cordless batteries don't like sitting around a lot and barely being used. The batteries are also quite expensive to replace.

    Welders: Arc, mig or flux?

I'd say take a class if you have a community college that offers them. I went through a whole welding program at one doing all position stick, MIG, TIG, and Pipe. For truck fab work I'd certainly favor a MIG (if you can make good, STRONG welds with one), but it would be a 240V input. A Hobart...

    seeking Chop saw recommendation

I have used Dewalt, Milwaukee, ryobi, and a few other abrasive saws as well as a dewalt dry cut saw saw. Personally I have a Metabo 14" abrasive saw and a Milwaukee deep cut port-a-band. I honestly use the portaband WAY more. The dry cut dewalt was a lot nicer to use then an abrasive saw, but...

craftsman wont give me warranty on impact swivel socket

The swivel impact sockets on the Craftsman website say "Guaranteed Forever" in the description. I most certainly think it should be warrantied. Maybe print the page and bring it in with you?

Stupid Worm Drive Saw Blade Question

Don't know about your Bosch, but my USA made skil hd77 has a diamond shaped arbor and the blade needs to have this also. The frued diablo blades I own have the diamond as a removable part with the standard hole in the middle so it would work with both designs.

S-4 Blackhawk Jack Availabe In CT

Auction just ended.... sold for just under $150. Anyone on here get it? I was going to bid over the winning big, but was out of the room at just the wrong time I guess. I need more projects right now like holes in the head.... so it's probably a good thing!

    Air Compressor Removal

Does it have any lift points (like for an overhead lift)? If you have an engine crane strong enough to lift it that is likely the easiest way.
