How did you learn your trade?

I know your Son's situation. I too chose not to go to college and joined the carpenter's union right after high school. Typical 4-year apprenticeship program. This is the best way if he wants to start making decent money right away. Some also choose to go through the local community college...

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Very cool to see you bringing in the modern instrumentation to match the drivetrain. Is there much room to move the seat back from it's position in the picture?

    milwaukee fuel nail gun

I stand corrected! I'm not a Milwaukee tool owner (besides a reciprocating saw), so I don't follow their tool releases. Funny, as I haven't once seen their finish nailers in-store or online prior to searching a little while ago. Not a hot seller?

    milwaukee fuel nail gun

Well, Milwaukee has never made nail guns, ever. So I think that it would be a bit hard for them to step into the game this late, especially when so many other competitors out there are doing very well at it. For example, Porter Cable, Hitachi, Senco, Paslode, etc.

    Help me a "bit"

Try taking a look at Bosch's cobalt bit set, it's reasonably priced at about $35 for 1/8"-3/8". Increments wise, how small do you need them to be; 1/32", 1/16", 1/8"?

    Oscillating multi tool suggestions

Is there a brand that you already have in your aresenal? If you do, I would just go with that brand, corded or not. Makita, Bosch, Porter Cable and Milwaukee; any of these will more than handle anything you need to do and all have decent reviews.

    Wall-storing A 24' Extension Ladder

Those listed through HD are hollow-tube. For a 24' ladder (especially fiberglass), it just might give if you place the ladder towards the outer edge of the bracket. You can make a very simple L-shaped bracket out of wood, with an angled support. It'll be much stronger than the aforementioned...

    Attaching shelving

If you need it to carry a decent amount of weight, I would frame with 2x3's or 2x4's to span the 4' OC's. I'd recommend using a self-tapping screw. Depending on the gauge of the stud, you up the diameter of the screw accordingly.

    Did you use the Goo.....

Yeah, so this type of anchor will not need epoxy to hold it in the concrete. Rather, as you start to tighten it down, the sleeve will move down the tapered part of the anchor and wedge itself against the concrete.
