That goes in the hole with the drive anchors?

I bought 50 3/4"X6" Red Head anchors to anchor the post plates to the slab. I didn't buy the Goo that you can put in the hole with them thinking it might not be necessary.

What say ye?

You don't need the epoxy or "goo" as you call it if those anchors are wedge-type. Do you have or can find a picture of them to confirm?

Yeah, so this type of anchor will not need epoxy to hold it in the concrete. Rather, as you start to tighten it down, the sleeve will move down the tapered part of the anchor and wedge itself against the concrete.

Don't overtighten it or it will just pull out, once it seats give it a couple good cranks and it's good.You'll know if you overtighten it, the bolt will just spin in the hole or it'll just keep coming out without grabbing.
