    Challenger CL4P9S vs Bendpak HD-9

I got the Challenger CL4P9S. I'm very glad I didn't get anything smaller. I ended up pushing it against one wall, so I actually have 2 ft on one side to walk around

    Challenger CL4P9S vs Bendpak HD-9

Big question now is I'm second guessing the size. My garage space is 11'3" wide and 23' deep, with walls on 3 corners. Depth isn't an issue because I'll take the ramps off to save a few feet. It's the width that now concerns me. It appears I'll only have 1 foot of space between the wall & each...

    Challenger CL4P9S vs Bendpak HD-9

So I've decided on Challenger, everything is just a little more heavy duty on it. I also realized the actual weight difference is closer to 200 lbs because the CL ships with standard aluminum ramps and the BP is standard steel. That's exactly why I was cross-shopping. A few years ago I...

    Challenger CL4P9S vs Bendpak HD-9

Hmmm, leaning the other way now as it seems the Challenger is sturdier. 1/2" vs 3/8" cable 12"x12" vs 10"x12" column base 1,850 lbs vs 1,686 lbs ship weight

Thanks guys, I leaning towards the Bendpak for the air locks. Seeing how it can be an added safety feature with kids around.

Snap-On bought Challenger lifts in May of 2013. I can't imagine they would stand to offer an inferior product today. And probably why it was redesigned. Bendpak is also made in China now. I believe only the power unit is made in the USA

    Challenger CL4P9S vs Bendpak HD-9

Just saw this after posting the same question between these lifts. But I was comparing at $4100, if the CL4P9S is going to be only $3000 delivered/installed that makes it an easy choice!

I can't decide between these two, any opinions? With Challenger's 5% off Black Friday sale they are within $200 of each other, so price is not an issue.

    BendPak 4 post lift question

You'll need at least a 20' box truck from them. The trucks are measured from the roof length, not the floor length.

The Sterling unit has an optional separate combustion kit for around $500. Only flammable thing I'll be doing is pouring gasoline into the tractor during the winter months. Worth $500 or no?

Ok looks like the 60k will be my pick. Why do the manufactures oversized their recommendations? GG60 3 to 3-1/2 Car Garage 600 - 800 sq-ft GG75 4+ Car Garage 800 - 1000 sq-ft Natural Gas

The entire back of the garage shares a common wall with the house. The other 3 are exterior walls.

There are two single car, and one double car garage doors. They are all the insulated type. I will heat the garage all winter to around 50 degrees. And turn it up when out there working to around 65 degrees.

Ah I forgot about the window! It's a fixed window that does not open, size is approx 70"x70" Garage doors show minimal light, I will need to add weather stripping to the service door. The bedroom cover maybe 50% of the garage. Each place was offering a different brand, they were Hot Dawg...
