    Hi everyone, we made a hood, hood brackets, radiator shell and the front brass emblem for a 1910 IHC. Next it will be sent to paint and body then back to the customer for final assembly.

    1910 Model 18 Packard oil tank replacement

    Here’s a 1910 model 18 Packard oil tank that Sam is in the middle of making. You can see the tank on the right side suffered from the cylinder jug blowing off the crank case, It also broke and bent the main mounting plate. A few details are left and then the tank will be completed.

    Yeah same with us. We have read that it does react and that it doesn't react but we have made a bunch of copper tanks in the past and haven't ran into any issues so far (knock on wood)

    Yes, originally these tanks were painted. We checked Rockauto first but it looks like it's on backorder with no eta in sight :sneaky:

    Yes it is but it would come out pretty cool. Originally it was painted but I think having it copper for a few years and having it painted black on the ends and nickeled in the middle would look cool or paint it :confused:
