2 post lift power unit relocation

I just purchased a 25ft line from a local supplier. Parker hose. 6000psi working pressure. Max system pressure is 3300ish psi so I should be good to go. They guy at the hydraulic place said it’s burst pressure has 4 times the working pressure. So it should take in excess of 24,000psi to...

2 post lift power unit relocation

I think this week I’m going to stop by a local hydraulics company and see what some options might be. Worse case, I just hook everything up as designed. That is interesting about the braided Kevlar, I didn’t know that was even a thing.

2 post lift power unit relocation

The lock release is attached to columns. Each side has its own release. My reasoning for the 30 feet is for routing the line to the ceiling, over to the wall, and down wall to power unit. The power unit itself will be about 5 feet away from the lift. I was thinking of mounting it in a place...

2 post lift power unit relocation

I am in the process of installing a Forward lift BP9. Instead of mounting the power unit to the column, I am interested on mounting in on the wall need a door. This would result in needing a much longer hydraulic line. So my question is, will a longer hydraulic line (about 30 feet as opposed...

    Challenger SA10 Questions

Hey CRF250Rider, the Challenger SA10 is on my list of contenders as well. How has the lift been working out for you? Anything you really like or dislike about it? Also, how close to the edge of the concrete and/or control joints did you mount it?

Amgo BP-12 lift vs Challenger CLFP9

I am looking at the Challenger baseplate lift CLFP9. But then I came across Amgo hydraulics. I was thinking of going with the Amgo BP-12 now instead. The Amgo has a heavier weight and is rated for 12k lbs vs the challenger at 9k lbs. Does anyone here have experience with either of these...

12 vs 18' wide garage doors

My attached garage has a 16’ wide by 8’ high door and it’s tight pulling in 2 cars side by side. For that reason I went with an 18’ wide by 10’ high on my detached garage. It gives a lot of versatility.

Thoughts on MR Cool DIY 24K on Garage Mahal

I have the Mr Cool diy 24k. I haven’t had it very long. I’m looking forward to the winter to see how well (or poorly) it will keep the garage heated. I’m at 910 square feet. So far it keeps it cold in there without any issues.
