Freud Diablo carbide tipped metal cutting blade

I am ordering a 5 pack of 9" blades today. Could have gone for 12" one, but as a rule I don't buy blades longer than my you know what:D

Which saber saw blade is best for metal cutting?

Thanks! I will definitely go for the Freud one. It is a little expensive, but supposed to last much longer than regular bimetal blades. BTW here in India (as well as in Europe) the recip saw (sawzall) is called a sabre saw. For example, see the description of the Bosch recip I own:

Freud Diablo carbide tipped metal cutting blade

Has anyone here used a Freud Diablo carbide tipped metal cutting blade? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NOBAX6S/?tag=atomicindus08-20 I have seen a lot of youtube videos about it and read some customer reviews, but it will be nice to get an idea from any member here who has actually used it for...

Which saber saw blade is best for metal cutting?

Saber saw is another name for recip saw (or sawzall). The price is in Rupees (66 Rs. = 1 $). I have seen some youtube videos of the Diablo blade and they say it beats the regular bimetal blades by 20 to 1. Just wanted to know if that is true from someone who has used it.

Which saber saw blade is best for metal cutting?

I am looking to buy a good metal cutting blade for my Bosch saber saw. I have shortlisted these two: 1. Freud 9" carbide tipped blade https://www.amazon.in/dp/B00NOBAX6S/ and 2. Dewalt 8" 14/18 TPI blade https://www.amazon.in/dp/B005C4PYS2/ Both look good to me and are priced roughly the...

How to cut the front exahust pipe?

Thanks again for all your comments! I managed to finally cut it after binding & breaking two cut-off disks (thankfully the guard was in place, otherwise I might have lost a knuckle or two). The last 1/2 inch or so does cause blade binding, so anyone attempting this with an angle grinder should...

How to cut the front exahust pipe?

The space is too small to finish the last 1 inch with a hack saw. I tried it but the saw strikes the body before even starting to cut. I will invest in the pipe cutter if everything else fails.

How to cut the front exahust pipe?

Thanks for all the great replies. There is not much space to work with, that's why I was wondering if the longer recip saw blade will not strike the underbody. The chain cutter sounds fine so I will try it as a last resort. Cleaning the cat while it is hanging underneath a jacked-up car is very...

How to cut the front exahust pipe?

I have to cut the front exhaust pipe on a car with blocked catalytic converter. The bolts are rusted so I have to cut it out. What do you recommend: a 9 inch angle grinder or a recip saw? Thanks.

    Which torque wrench to buy?

Well anurag, I think it is better to trust a well known brand such as Tekton, which is proven in terms of quality rather than take my chances with an unknown Indian brand. Regarding Tonichi etc., I don't know where to buy them, and they are also imported products (maybe priced much higher than...

    Which torque wrench to buy?

So Tekton it is! I will go ahead and order it. Thanks for making it easy to decide. Actually, beside the fit and finish, the important thing is how accurately the wrench is calibrated, and whether it will hold the calibration over the long run. I think Tekton fits the bill on both these counts...
