    TIG welders question

I have tried TIG welding some stuff with the chrome still on it, never had much luck. Now i know on aluminum that has been anodized with some tig welders you can weld it and if you do it right the color will come on to the top of the new weld and look the same. This deals with it, it ends up...

The Smoke and Mirrors of Tools!

nissan_crawler Does always seem to be the voice of reason on here, everything he said is true. As for the OP, what you feel is trolling and i what i feel is are 2 different things. Do i feel you were trying to help new members, Maybe. Did it work, not really. This is more of a mind F#ck thread...

The Smoke and Mirrors of Tools!

I would have to say, the only thing i have learned from this thread is somthing i already know. How much of a troll kythri is. Other then that, another thread of bashing and bull **** that taught nothing about what people should buy/want for tools other then not ask about it here:twak:

Would you buy a second-hand micrometer?

I would have to agree with that, though i have never had one with brass in it. seeing brass being a soft alloy i don't think it would be a good machining tool, besides making parts etc out of and i could be wrong on that to. I don't do a lot on a regular basis.

    Me versus Stanley

If you have nothing to loose now, get an oxy fuel torch and heat the SOB red hot and spry it with WD40 and repeat let it cool after the last time you heat it up. That's if you don't want to let it win...come one i dare you.:D
