New craftsman industrial dealer in ohio.

Where is there an Andersons in Cleveland? I grew up in Brunswick.. I never heard of it until I moved to Toledo. Ok selection, but I usually dont go there for anything but Tony Packos Hot Dogs. :) I guess I should have read the third post before posting.... Oh well.

    Wrecking Yard Toolbox on Wheels?

What about one of those expandable box two wheel carts like Home Depot and Lowes has? I knew a welder that wheeled one of those around with him. The wheels arent huge but who knows. http://www.homedepot.com/b/webapp/catalog/servlet/Navigation?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&storeId=10051&N=5yc1vZc22a

Just won a snap on CTS561CL from school

I have this kit, which also has a flashlight with it, and I also have the 3/8 impact model of this. Do yourself a favor and buy the CTS561BITSET. It has all of the drivers you will ever need for this drill. As others have stated.. It will be your best friend when working under dashes. This...

I can't go another day without impact tools!

Heck... If you dont have a compressor and dont have the money.. The electric impacts that HF sells arent too bad. Cheap and effective. *Disclaimer for the Made in America, Earthquake is the best gun in the world super douches: It is an effective tool for the cost and the OP does not have to go...

how many tools does your job require????

As crewchief888 said.. In H/E shops we have to have stuff up to 1-1/2 and the basics (pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets). The shop is required to provide 3/4" and 1" stuff as well as power tools and all specialty tools. Most guys buy that stuff anyhow because of the convenience to have...

    Hard to find tool

http://www.sears.com/gearwrench-3-pc-drive-adapter-set-inch/p-00991245000P?prdNo=12&blockNo=12&blockType=G12 I have the Craftsman ones too, but I cannot locate them on the site. I dont have them at home so I dont have a part number for them either. Otherwise, like you are stating, an adapter...

    chrome socket wall thickness

This is the very purpose of them inventing what are called 'thin wall sockets'. Then with the advent of these aftermarket wheels, the tool companies have come out with special thin wall teflon coated sockets that fit into the tight clearances of the wheels and lugs and dont mar the finish.

    Deep Sockets for Every job...

I use deep sockets in 3/8 and 1/2 drives 95% of the time. All I have are shallow in 1/4 and 3/4.

I think I have lost faith in Craftsman

Agreed. The only tools I have had break were 3/8 drive square ends on a breaker bar and an extension. Both of which I know for a fact I was putting excessive force on. As a diesel mechanic, we tend to use a little more force when doing something. Some tools are not meant for that kind of...

I think I have lost faith in Craftsman

It makes him feel better when it is blind loyalty. Snap On, Matco, MAC, and Cornwell wouldnt be around if they werent good tools. Plain and simple. Sears, HF, Stanley, Kobalt, Husky, and all of the other dollar brand tools wouldnt be around if there werent DIYers. The difference between the...

My Biggest Problems with Harbor Freight

I too wish they would sell more single wrenches/sockets. But the sets are honestly cheap enough you just buy em. 5/8 is the same as 16mm. Most metric sets skip the 16, but the standards have the 5/8. Even brands like Snap On do it in their sets. Is 3/4 the same as 18? or is that 19? They do the...
