    Can right rear brake hose cause excessive brake pad wear?

    rustyjames is right. the brake system has alot of pressure to apply the brakes but not enough pressure for the fluid to return after you let off the brakes. this causes the shoes to stay in the "applied" position. replace the rubber hose and you should be good to go!
