Is there any way of making a determination of the horsepower of this motor without the rating plate?

I was looking a little closer at what I thought was a bleed resistor, but it appears it was a diode and not a resistor. It may be time to remove the box from the motor and update the electronics portion of the equation.

If you are that close to fitting a 2 post lift I would say find a better place, or plan for a different kind of lift.

As stated in the previous post, the machine has made its way to metal heaven. It is probably a Toyota by now.
