    Roofing drip edge question

I know that’s what it should do, hence the issue I’m asking about. It is a very good adhesive, you’re not just pulling it back, it’s on there, and there is 300 feet of it at the eaves. The gable ends ge a different type of trim., so not like you are going to use a heat gun and manipulate it.

    Roofing drip edge question

I have building framed up and getting ready for steel roofing. I installed the Titanium PSu 30 membrane to keep everything dry, but did not have my drip edge at the time. Now I need to install it. Opinions on installing it over the membrane with sealant of some sort? Cut it away, install drip...

To prime, or not to prime

I use Dunn Edwards paints on jobsites for ironwork, so I have just continued using them for my house projects. So I will just **** it up and buy the primer. Thanks for the opinions.

To prime, or not to prime

New construction, KD Doug Fir. Expised patio and eaves. Should I prine or not? I see high end houses with no primer. The primer seems the same as the paint. The cost per gallon is roughly the same as paint. What are the down sides of just painting it?

Need help I.D. Capacitors on Phase Converter

I ended up talking to the tech guy at https://www.northamericaphaseconverters.com/ I checked all my motors and am glad I did, I have one 2hp and tow 5hp motors. I bought a spankin new control panel, their CP10. It was right at $400 with a wired remote switch. It is going to take some rewiring...

Need help I.D. Capacitors on Phase Converter

I think someone did, as they are no longer around. Right now I need to figure out which motor I have. This is not as easy as usual for me, as there is no shaft to measure to give a good idea as to what it is. Perhaps it was originally a shafted motor and I can pull off one end to Find a cut...

Is there any way of making a determination of the horsepower of this motor without the rating plate?

Need help I.D. Capacitors on Phase Converter

I was looking a little closer at what I thought was a bleed resistor, but it appears it was a diode and not a resistor. It may be time to remove the box from the motor and update the electronics portion of the equation.

Need help I.D. Capacitors on Phase Converter

This is a rotary phase converter. I currently run 3 machines on it, just never all at once. It was made by a company here in Phoenix, but due to its age, none are readable. I will go search the motor for a tag. No tag on the motor, but the unit was made by Pemco. The start capacitor, going by...

Need help I.D. Capacitors on Phase Converter

I had a start capacitor on my 40 year old Phase converter blow up. I do not know how to ID the capacitor for a replacement. The other half a dozen capacitors look okay, but I wonder if they are due for replacement. There are no numbers on the start capacitor. There is a part number on the others...

Best/cheapest way to bend some 3/4” tubing?

Piece of cake. You can just order them from someplace like Kingmetals.com, or you can bend them yourself. This is fairly easy so long as you have a torch. You will also want a form, it can be done without, but as a first time bender you won’t get 2 the same. Basically fill them with sand to keep...

de-sheath i-beam in attached garage? Code?

If you are that close to fitting a 2 post lift I would say find a better place, or plan for a different kind of lift.

As stated in the previous post, the machine has made its way to metal heaven. It is probably a Toyota by now.
