Can the Rockwell 11-280 radial drill press be used as a lathe?

The 11-280 that I recently picked up had a bolt rather than handle style bolt for the spindle lock. Does anyone know where I could locate the handle style bolt shown in the owners manual?

Great info ... my friend has the 12” so I will let him know what your experience has been. He needs a TPI of 18 to 24 so I would think he might have to upsize to the 3/8 or the 1/2”. Any suggestions on where he might find a blade with those requirements?

What is the biggest blade size that will fit this saw? Can you use a 3/8" blade on this saw. Will it stay on the wheels?

Did the spindle pulley on this model 103.23620 have a bearing similar to the spindle bearing on the 103.23640 model?
