Espresso? Hmmm ... naah ... but for tamping foundry sand; I can see that! Thanks!

    Pneumatic Whatzit

Was buying some tools from a guy yesterday and this caught my eye. Appears to be some sort of pneumatic hammer. This is HEAVY and the air coupler is huge. Needless to say, he didn't have a compressor large enough to test it.

    Craftsman Drill Press

There's a really clean one over in Goshen on Facebook Marketplace. Has the slo-speed pulley, too. Might be a bit pricy for some folks.

You can also get Mylar film on eBay that has an engine-turned pattern.

Excellent find, Frank! A buddy recently got about a 1/2 milk crate of 'rusty taper bits'. He picked some out and went after them with a wire wheel. Turned out they were nearly new and nearly all were made by Cleveland Forge. He now has nearly every bit on one of those drilling/tapping...

My CL DOD was grabbing four John Deere 14SB/SE mowers in Elkhart for a total of $255. Gonna make one nice runner for our son and part out the rest.

    2017 Garage Sale Thread

Very nice find! A buddy got pretty much the same chest (all beat to hell) for $40 last year. Spent many moons getting it into shape. The only difference is that he painted the hardware black.

Bagged: I don't know what the light was mounted to, if they ever were. I've never seen that type mounted to any tool. I'm convinced it was sold as a 'shop light.' Nice that you found one with the guard intact. Now we need to know what you paid for it. I found mine at an estate sale for $18.

    old aluminum craftsman mower

We had a similar one when I was a kid. About 1967 IIRC. My buddy's wife still uses a mower with that style deck today .... it's on its second engine, though.

Mercman, keep an eye on eBay and CL. Every once in awhile, a real clean motor will show up at an affordable price. On CL, don't be afraid to grab a table saw or band saw just to rob the motor off it.

    J.C.Penny floor jack

Pacecar: Any progress on this one? I'm trying to help a buddy get his Penney's jack going again. 1 1/2 tons .. retail number 2015 ... catalog number 986-8274. There's some numbers in the casting (HS77.4 and M150M) and I've included a photo of a page from the parts list to show number format...

    Gas powered drill

Cool find indeed! O&R first made small engines for model cars and aircraft. They later started to use their engines on a variety of other machines. They were put on drills, tillers, generators, chainsaws, circular saws and outboards. Some of these were rebranded and sold under other names...
