    Look what I found. Also is a photo of the front panel showing different speeds for different size cutters but there seems to be a speed controller missing.

    Thanks for the reply I will check out that link. The brace you say I am missing I do have it but my biggest venture is to adapt a Jacobs chuck.

    The face plate has hash marks for speed control. The only # I can find is stamped on the side of the base.

    Just got a Rotabroach with the #24907 stamped on it. All it has is 2 toggle switches, one for drill and one for the magnet. It appears to be missing the speed controller as of right now it runs to fast for large bits. I removed the cover and I think I see a bridge rectifier (taiwan ac 8103)...

    Alas 10d modification

    Looking at buying a well used 10d x 24 and it needs attention. I'm new at this so pardon some of my terminology. The cross slide hand-wheel is extremely sloppy and if I lift up the chuck by hand I can feel the play. My question is: Can I buy a complete carriage and head stock from a 10F...
