Thanks everyone for the replies and the information.
Also @PoorUB Those flip down tables are just terrific on yours.
I went and looked at it this morning, and found out the story. I decided to buy it.
I will head up next week sometime with the trailer to pick it up.
It is 3-phase so a little...
Thanks for the reply.
I have 240v in my barn/shop. I got the go ahead to come inspect the machine early next week.
Is the fence on this saw the UniFence? That does have an appeal to me for sure. I did not see many with that, or ANY.

Okay,
I have been on the lookout for a cabinet saw for some of the remodel stuff at the house.
Going to make a bunch of custom trim.
Going to probably make some doors. (I have some odd sizes)
Some cabinets.
Misc other things.
I am not in a rush but this showed up locally. It is a Delta...
Let me offer a third option that can be handy for ad-hoc bends without machinery.
Run a grinder along all 4 bendlines and take away some of the thickness.
Then, you can easily bend the flanges (probably by hand) with a guaranteed bend position.
Bend them inward toward the grinder lines.
Weld up...
The difference between theory and practice.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice.
In practice however, there is.
The assumption is academically correct, and incomplete for the intended purpose at the same time.

I want to get internet from the house to the barn.
In a perfect world, I would run cable but since the barn already has a 125 amp panel and 240V service, I am not going to dig that up or bother with another trench right now.
I have not done much research yet. I thought a bunch of members here...
Hello,
I bought a place that I am moving to. It has a great 30 x 72 barn that I will need lots of ideas for but that is for later.
It was unoccupied for a couple of years and there are many ... hundreds of saplings, tree starts that I need to remove. They are all around the barn, and the house...
Thanks everybody for the thoughtful answers.
I just bought the place so I am not concerned about the same level of future damage.
They are aluminum frames with the rubber spline.
I just ordered a 250 foot roll of the correct diameter spline and the little roller tool.
I will get some rolls of...
Hi.
I had to remove the mesh material from all of the bug screens in the sun room. Some animals had trashed them sometime in the past.
The original was possibly aluminum. It seemed to be made from some sort of metal wire.
I have previously refitted the fabric mesh at a previous house.
Figuring...
Hello,
I need a grease gun for some tractor attachments / propshafts / truck suspension / steering linkages etc.
Is there any good grease gun. I am tired of poor quality ones.
Thanks.
alfazer: Thanks. First hand experience is great.
Is there a specific product I should be looking for?
EDIT:
I ran out to Home Depot here at lunch and got.

Thanks for the reply.
The MDF has done fine in a dry clean room indoors for the last year. It is not anywhere close to decay. (And I got all of it for less than $120) It easily has years left in it given how it is used.
I understand it will never get smooth without some help. That is exactly...
That is definitely on the list from what I have been reading. I need to pick an actual product and find out if I need to seal it first.
I figure it would be a pretty cost effective way to go. As I said, I do not know much about the different products out there.
