I know it has been a while since you have posted here, but any recent pics?
I'm building a 30x30 and this is the best example I've seen.
Thank you so much for sharing the build!
I agree, you aren't talking to "no one."
I specifically clicked your thread due to the nature of the size of this build.
Am highly anxious to see a lift in there for proportion. This thing looks AWESOME! I may replicate it on my new home site.
Thank you for sharing.
Proud to see this thread still going. I've since rented out the garage in the original photo, and purchased a different house with a detached garage.
Pictures coming soon... today, I defrosted the refrigerator in it.
Re: What did you do to your garage today?
Bump. Fairly recently, I rented my garage out, and the house that it's attached to. Bought another house, with a bigger detached garage. Then, I replaced the pitiful lighting with industrial units. Pictures ASAP :)
I like the aluminum ladders, but you got to admit Plump's is going to be much easier going up/down.
I have no clue how often I'll be going up there. One thing that's not an option is using a non-mounted extension ladder.
As for the wife, she's got walk-in access upstairs to the attic above...
My detached has a second floor somewhat ... previous owner had an extension ladder stuck in here when we looked at the place. I was thinking about making something out of 2x4s that was more stable / permanent. Don't want it to protrude out too far however and eat into precious real estate...
Love the thread- please keep the updates coming, no matter the length in between :)
(Nice welder, it's the same one I bought to teach myself how to weld on)
