Okay I have looked all over the internet for this possible answer. What is the tightening torque (roughly) of the different modes of the 2754 3/8 impact?
I hard pipe all mine out as well like above pictures. After the ball valve I stick another 1/4" ****** in then get some clear tubing and slide it over the end thread. Makes it easy to blow the **** into a bucket.
I also extend out the oil drain ****** and put a ball valve and plug in it. Less...
On the drain I always install a 1/4" npt street 90 then a 6-8" 1/4" pipe ****** to a quarter turn ball valve on my compressors. I can then use another piece of pipe with a hose slipped over it and drain it into a bucket.
Also on new compressors I'll do the same thing with the oil drain plug...
Was in same situation as you original poster. Customer had an Emglo with a rusted tank. After giving him options of replacement tank vs. whole new compressor he went with a new complete unit. I found ereplacmentparts.com to have cheapest price for Jenny (Emglo) tanks...
Long time lurker, first time owner. 2763-22 I can tell I already love it. One question though, I thought they shipped with the 4.0 battery's. I received two 5.0's. I bought it from ferguson plumbing supply.
I was just looking some wrenches over. My newer ones do have USA stamped on the long arm next to the size. I looked at my older ones and there's no USA stamp (it's a 10" wrench I was looking at) But I know all new wrenches do come with this sticker.
Per this thread you started OP (original poster) you don't even use the open end. And you should have known better than to break torque with the open end.

Also I agree with post 41 in the linked thread.
