Oh I agree on the cost of it. What would be neat is to have it come off the front of my garage. When its not in use it could retract into a recess in the building and be completely covered and protected.
Replace the plastic, wash the car and floor. Run your filtration while you clean it. This will stir up any (hopefully all of the contaminants) and trap in the filters. A good set of painting coveralls goes a long way in helping with contaminants as well. It can be done you just have to put in...
I have to agree with buzz4041.
When I painted my 911 a few years back I built a booth inside my shop as well. I used 2X4's to make walls and ceiling joists. It had a man door and swing doors on the end.
One thing I might advise on is the plastic, as others have mentioned its cheap. Replace it...
My honda is super quiet with no problems. We dont even try to hide it when camping. It goes right there where we are.
If its too loud for us its too loud for our neighbours
I found a projector on a government auction site. 96" display, looks good even with lights on. Way better with some off though. Also works good for movie night out back

I sold my tube heater last year, inefficient and either to hot or cold. In floor would have been smarter when we were building but now I use a hanging unit heater and it is way better than the tube as well
Never thought of the wood idea, it does lead out to a wood deck so that might work nicely. Is the rapid set the same one as is used for posts. If so that stuff is wicked fast in set up time. Not sure I can move that fast anymore!
OK, I can use the mesh again. I am going to the Depot later this week and will see what they have in bags. It is always heated if that makes a difference
When my shop was built their was a small alcove (6X12) that originally was meant for a shop compressor and water pump. It was poured about 6" thick with wire mesh and about 2" lower than the garage floor. The original thinking was that if their was a leak in the pump instead of flooding the...
