I’m going to try and find a machine shop that can cut a new piece and add some threads on the quick release part. I’ll post an update and let everyone know what happens.

I have the same Athol vise I picked up at an auction. However, I need to do a fixing to it. When I tighten the jaws they slip. It has a, I’ll call it a half nut on the bottom portion of the screw that is worn. I’d to replace it but I’ll probably never find a replacement part. Does anyone have...
