Okay, i don't know what EDM means, could you fill me in? I tried a cobalt drill, got nowhere, just went skating....a masonry drill 'touched' the HSS....got excited....but short-lived. I am not giving up, "where there's a will......."

I actually "re-sharpen" my OLFA snap off blades, its just the tip that gets mangled after a while, and I just snap it off for a new one!

Any recommendations on GOOD cobalt drill bits? I am going to have to internet search as I live in "poor hardware stores" community. I figure it would be best to look into a quality set of super hard and sharp cobalts, or perhaps carbide bits for drilling. Next question, can I sharpen there...

Okay, after doing some further research, the holes in the ends of a hacksaw blade are 4mm, which is more like a 5/32 hole. Damn perfection!
