I would do the Tyvek Dave. Having built spaces with and without it 4 others I know personally I will never go without it. Check around online and I am sure you can find some studies but they have found it reduces drafts something like 60% vs just the boards. I know it isn't the cheapest stuff...

Dawn is 7:05 AM, Dusk is 5:30 PM Subtract 2 min per day from each of those, until the Winter Solstice on the 17th of Dec (19th?) so it gets quite a bit darker. the big difference for us is we just swung off of Daylight savings time which means it now gets dark an hour earlier than it did last...

Search Ebay for a GOFF CURTAIN. Other wise create plywood panels with screw out legs on one end to add tension and hold them in place while you work. I applaud your effort. Sawdust goes everywhere.!
