    Comfortable shop shoes?

Sketcher Work for me if Im doing anything serious other than tinkering around. Relatively light weight, safety toe, squishy gel feeling insole, decent arch support and they breathe well

    Paper towel holders

This might not be what your wanting but went this way so I can pull one at a time instead of pulling half a roll off. https://www.harborfreight.com/toolbox-big-grip-bucket-blue-shop-towels-64928.html Got it on sale for cheap and snagged all the refills they had. Granted its not as cost...

How many lights do I need? (Basement)

This is great advise, it all comes down to what you want to do in the space. Make your plan then double it ;). On a serious note, I like a VERY well lit area and HATE working in my own shadow so that being said I would have no less than 9 in the 16x17 area.

Cracks, to deal or not to deal?

For what its worth, I filled all my cracks with the gel crack filler from legacy and at was beyond simple and worth it. Some advice, start mixing smaller amounts than you think you need until you get a feel of how quickly is sets vs how quickly you can get in down. I saw 20min work life and...

    Another Mini-Split Sizing Question

I'm not an expert, but a single 24k sounds really short for that size. I have a 24k Mr. Cool DIY in my 24x28 with 9' ceilings, but admittedly I did slightly oversize for my situation. With a building that large I think would like two, or a larger split multi system with two inside units. I'm...

For those who have a mini-split...

My space is no where as large as yours but I can say that I have been impressed with the performance of mine for both heating and cooling. It will make it uncomfortable for you in there if you let it, but I love the ability to just set the temp and forget it, it runs super quiet as well so I...

If you had it to do all over...

I'll piggy back on several mentions here as well as what I did; -I ran separate circuits for each wall, each 220 drop and one for the garage door openers on the front -Add an outlet (or at least a box) on the ceiling for a drop light reel. I forget to do it an d now need to tap into my light...

    Epoxy color?

Grinding isn't hard, it is a messy job and takes time but nothing I would pay a ton to have done. Personally wouldn't go with the white, it looks cool but I doubt it would lay flat enough to look good, the waves, ripples, roller marks, and whatnot would drive me nuts but if you dig it go for it!!

    Mini-Split sizing

So, to be clear... you just want a mini-split to knock down temps/humidity every now and then? If that the case I (personally) would just keep what you have and avoid the hassle/costs, but its your party. My shop is about 24x28 with insulated walls/attic. I installed a 24k MR. Cool DIY unit and...

    Epoxy color?

I know you said you don't want grey, and I can understand that but how much have you considered full broadcast chip? Lots of choices and even if its in the grey family it would look classy and be a better backdrop for you ride IMO Also, is DIY of the table completely?
