I was going to say, I remember it being a member here that developed this ratchet and there was a whole thread dedicated to it.
If you have questions just ask @teagueo or go check out the thread that covers the development.
So many things just got added to my snap-on wish list thanks to your toolbox tour.
BTW are you looking for a mechanical engineer that loves to turn wrenches?
As an owner of an Icon box, I can confirm the feel of the store model was due to abuse. There is a mechanism on the slides that allow you to adjust how much force it takes for the initial pull.
I got a CIVIVI knife around a year ago. It has been a solid knife, my only complaint is it doesn't stay as sharp as I would like. I probably need a proper sharping setup though.
This ratchet and sockets allowed me to replace a wheel bearing without having to fully disassemble the suspension to gain access to the bolt. WORTH EVERY DAMN PENNY
That's what I said too. Let me just get a ratchet and see what the fuss is all about. Then it was just unique tools that maybe different brands didn't offer.
That was 20+ ratchets, 2 line wrench sets, 1/4in and 3/8 socket sets, and various other odds and ends ago.
