I have a Wilton 645 and love it (wish these models had a date stamp but I feel mine is early 70's). Not too heavy for the small space...very smooth. I see you are missing the pipe jaws too. The pipe jaws are easily removed so easily misplaced. Enjoy!
I have the same vise and they restore well. Sorry to hear about the cracks. I see yours is also missing the pipe jaws. I am still looking for the pipe jaws to complete my restoration with no luck. FYI original color was a grayish almost primer color, Good Luck!!
Here is the original brochure for the 645 from Wilton...not sure the dates when these were made (anyone)? Mine has no date code. Wilton customer service couldn't pin down dates either but had this brochure. Again enjoy :beer:

Here is mine just fixed and painted and love it...Solid vise with 5" jaws and very smooth as expected from Wilton. I actually changed the jaw size to a bit thicker since Wilton didn't make the original size anymore and the price was right for this everyday vise. Enjoy your vise and post...
