Are you saying that my main disconnect is showing that I have 100a into my house and garage? Does that mean, that without anything else at my residence, I wouldnt be able to run the RTE 27 http://www.rheem.com/documents/rte-27-spec-sheet? That is asking for 240v 112a max.

I will not be installing the water heater myself. I can sweat pipes, but I dont not feel good messing with gas. I do have a CO detector in the house. I have a gas dryer already in the laundry room. But after reading some comments, I am researching some electrical tankless units right now.
