    If you added 7oz of oil while only changing the compressor it is over oiled simple as that. You probably have 12+ ounces in a system that holds a maximum of 7 of course performance is going to be poor. My first step would be to flush the evaporator and condenser and oil balance the system.

    If I'm understanding correctly, you're wanting to drive a square? What about an 8 point socket? Koken has metric and sae sizes available 2415M for 1/4 drive and 3415M for 3/8 drive.
