Ford 500 spark plug socket

My great uncle wants me to change his spark plugs in a 2005 Ford 500 V6. The back 3 look like a pain to get to. Most of the engines I work on are diesel so I don't have very many spark plug sockets except for a few 5/8 and 13/16. I have two universal sockets but the rubber grommets don't work the best.

What size socket do I need? In Garage Journal fashion, this is the perfect excuse to buy more tools. I was thinking of buying a swivel socket with extension built in, but I'm not sure what size I need. I looked at my uncle's car and pulled a coil but I only had my 1/4" set with me and I wasn't at my shop. The hole was too deep to check with a socket and I didn't want to risk dropping my socket without having a magnet to fish it out.

It looked like a 9/16" but online replacement plugs say 5/8. 14mm is awfully close too. Anyone know which one it is and which style (magnetic, swivel, extension, etc) is best to use in tight spots?

Look up rock auto and see the size of plugs they sell? Get a magnetic one. Those with rubber inserts are pathetic

Thanks for all the help. I'll be in town tomorrow and it looks like Advanced Auto has a magnetic swivel socket in stock. I'll probably stop by and grab one.
