Just in case anybody ever wants to build a garage like this, it has been about 6 years since we built this garage now and we never had ANY issue with drainage, snow or ice. I'm putting the house up for sale this year so somebody else will get to enjoy the patio and most importantly the garage...

Did you try showing them your old receipt, they might price match it for you. I picked up 3 today and they price matched a receipt.

They are from a local company who makes them, they are 24"x24" and are slatfaced

Here's a few updated photos since the previous ones, once I get some other stuff done i'll take some more photos. The wall against the house now has 16 feet of cabinets and will house the workbench below them.

some updated photos ... the floor is getting poured tomorrow and the door goes in next week. after some landscaping its pretty much done, the pavers and railing will be done soon also but at least I'll be able to get stuff inside the garage soon.

what do you guys recommend for insulation in the ceiling, the joists are 14". Also, what should I use to cover it up, osb?

Good eye on the door, there is actually a 8 inch step up from the floor inside the house to the bottom of the door, i'm cutting that out and reframing the door down to give it its full height again. I'm pretty short so I could leave it as is for now, kindof a hobbit door. I can also notch out...

What type of problems did you have? The roof material is warrantied for 1/8" per 12" of slope and thats what I have. The roof has been designed by an engineer to have no sag with the weight of the pavers, 30 people and a 100#/sq ft snow load so runoff at that slope shouldn't be a problem...
